Consent comes before capture in this pipeline. An abandoned cart triggers at most three timed touches, each screened by suppression, quiet-hour and ethics checks before Resend fires, and every recovered sale traces back to its exact email.

  1. Captures the abandonment via platform webhook (Stripe, Shopify, ikas, OpenCart), verifies the signature against replay attacks, and refuses to store any personal data at all if the email opt-in checkbox was not ticked. Consent is the entry gate, not a footnote.
  2. Schedules exactly three touches: a plain reminder at 1 hour, product detail with social proof at 24 hours, and a tiered discount (5% for premium brands, 10% for mass market) at 72 hours. A fourth touch never fires; beyond that the address moves toward suppression.
  3. Runs every single send through the guard layer first: suppression-list check, consent re-check, a night-time SMS block (no SMS between 21:00 and 09:00 in the customer's own timezone) and engagement decay (3 unopened mails triggers auto-suppression).
  4. Keeps each email to one dominant persuasion principle: loss framing at 1h, social proof at 24h, reciprocity at 72h. A built-in pre-dispatch ethics audit scores every template and blocks anything that stacks principles or fakes scarcity without a real stock number.
  5. Dispatches through Resend with RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers and UTM-tagged links per touch, so every recovered purchase is attributable to the exact email that produced it.
  6. Aggregates recovery rate, recovered revenue and discount cost daily in Supabase, cross-checks against the GA4 purchase event server-side, and decays addresses with 90 days of no engagement off the list automatically.
