  1. Takes the copy in (file, URL or pasted text), classifies it (landing page, email, sales sequence, cold pitch, popup) and checks it is long enough to audit at all. Under 50 words there is not enough evidence to score.
  2. Scores all 7 Cialdini principles (Reciprocity, Commitment, Social Proof, Authority, Liking, Scarcity, Unity) as PRESENT, WEAK or MISSING, and every score must be backed by a one-sentence quote from the copy itself. No quote, no score.
  3. Isolates the first sentence for a Pre-Suasion opener check: prospect-focused openings (a real detail about them) score YES, sender-focused openings ("our platform", "we help") score NO.
  4. Counts the PRESENT principles and runs the anti-overstacking gate: 5 or more strongly present flips the recommendation to RESTRAINT, cut the weakest two, because stacked persuasion reads as manipulation and burns brand trust.
  5. Groups the scores into Cialdini's three tiers, Cultivation (relationship), Validation (proof), Mobilization (action), to spot an unbalanced funnel, like copy that is all urgency and no relationship.
  6. Delivers Top 3 fixes ranked by impact versus effort, each with a concrete before/after rewrite, and flags the output BLOCKED if the ethics gate fails so nothing manipulative ships.

    Either works as long as it can see the actual words on the page, since it quotes the exact lines it scores. The audit is about the copy you already have, not a hypothetical version of it.

  2. Is the principle scoring just an opinion, or can I act on it?

    Each of the seven principles is scored against quoted evidence pulled from your copy, so you see which line earns trust and which claim is left hanging. It also reads the opener through Pre-Suasion, since what frames the reader before the pitch shifts how the rest lands.

  3. Will it rewrite the weak sections for me?
